Description
In one sentence,
or in full.
HOME BLDR is an iPhone and Android app that walks a homeowner through building a house — what is happening now, what is coming next, and the exact question to ask before the moment passes.
Nearly every construction app on the market is built for the contractor. HOME BLDR is built for the person paying for the house. It follows the real construction sequence across fifteen stages, explains each item in plain language, gives the owner the exact question to ask their builder, and flags the last moment a thing can still be checked before the next trade covers it up. Photos, decisions, and specifications attach to the item they belong to, so the record survives the build and becomes the long-term file for the finished house.
Building a house is the largest transaction most people will ever make, and almost nobody does it twice. The builder has done it two hundred times and knows the sequence by heart, which is precisely why they never narrate it. The owner finds out about most decisions only after they have already been made — the tile deadline the week it is late, the outlet placement after the drywall is up, the waterproofing question after the tile is set.
HOME BLDR was built to close that gap. It lays the entire project out in the order a house is actually built, so an owner can see what is finished, what is active, and what is about to become urgent. Every item answers four questions: what this is, why it matters, what to ask the builder, and what to verify before the work disappears. There is no vocabulary requirement and no setup — the checklist is ready the moment the app opens.
It works entirely on the owner's side. The builder does not need an account, does not need to cooperate, and does not need to know. Owners simply begin showing up with better questions, asked earlier, when the answers are still cheap. And when the build is finished, what remains is a complete record of the house — paint colors, model numbers, warranty terms, trade contacts, and the photographs of everything now hidden behind the walls.
Key Features
What the app does.
A complete 15-stage checklist that follows the real construction sequence, from pre-contract planning through final walkthrough.
Every item explains what it is and why it matters, in plain language, with no construction vocabulary assumed.
Each item carries the exact question to ask the builder, written out and ready to use.
Timing-critical items show the last moment they can still be verified, before the next trade covers the work.
Photos and attachments attach to the item they belong to, so the record stays findable years later.
Dated decisions land on a calendar, so selections surface weeks before the crew arrives instead of the morning they do.
The captured record — paint colors, model numbers, warranty terms, trade contacts — becomes the long-term file for the finished house.
